Eagle’s Nest (Main Cliff)

Commonly known as ‘Main Cliff’, this is where most of the route climbing is concentrated in the Calabogie area. The cliff runs for more than a kilometer, and there are many sections of good rock along it. With a large parking area and easy trail access along the top and bottom of the cliff, it is the most popular climbing area in the region.

The area holds well over 100 sport and trad routes, as well as some ice climbs when conditions allow. A small amount of bouldering can also be found directly along the base of the cliff. The bouldering a little further down from the cliff, along the edge of Otter Pond, is document separately as the Otter Pond Boulders.

Guide

Most of the climbing routes are well document on The Crag.
